III INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE THE AMERICAN LITERARY WEST (2nd Call for Papers)

Time goes slow but steady. We are back with our second call for papers, thus, our second invitation that you join us and come visit next October. Keep that in mind: next October, Vitoria-Gasteiz is the place if you want to hear about Western American literature and culture.
As you can see in the attached document (just click on the link that I'm leaving here: cfp) we have a few confirmed plenary speakers and we are pretty excited that we will have a final roster that not even Red Auerbach could have gathered when he was ruling the Celtics. To start with, Richmond Fontaine's singer and writer Willy Vlautin will be coming right from the American West with his last novel just taken out from the oven. Two renowned scholars, Susan Kollin and Krista Comer, will be offering personal and insightful perspectives on the American West. And Kirmen Uribe, a prominent Basque writer, will disclose the literary interests and influences that connect him to a land that stays an ocean away from his homeland. If this wasn't enough, we'll have with us, kind of as a "special guest star", David Fenimore, with a special interactive performance. And more: a plenary round table on the American West from a global perspective that will gather scholars as experienced and celebrated as José Aranda, Neil Campbell and Alan Weltzien
We welcome abstracts that relate to the topics that you will find in the attached document. Please, don't hesitate to contribute and take us up on our invitation to join us for our next international conference to be held, we'll repeat it just in case, next 8-10 October 2014 in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Basque Country, Spain
Any question, don't hesitate to ask. And we'll keep the tradition and say farewell by making the reading of this post more pleasant with some audio clip:
